I’m an active CG researcher based in rainy West Lake Area, Hangzhou, China.

About me

‍I obtain a B.S. degree from Zhejiang University, and a Ph.D. degree from the HKUST.

I have been a postdoc researcher at KAUST, a beautiful university by the side of the Red Sea and a postdoc researcher at Yale University. Prior to joining Zhejiang University, I have been an Assistant Professor at Shanghaitech University for two years.

Currently, I am also a Co-founder of Hangzhou ChohoTec Inc., a company that focuses on developing cutting edge technologies for digital oral health, including developing software and hardware systems for Orthodontics, Orthognathous, and Dental Restoration.

Developing neural network architectures and algorithms for learning on 3D geometric data, including denoising, fusion, shape analysis, alignment, matching, etc.

Geometric Modeling

Create high quality 3D contents from multi-modal data, including 2D images, videos, X-rays, CBCT, RGBD inputs, and texts.

Digital
Dentistry

Developing cutting edge technologies for digital dentistry, including orthodontics, implant, restoration, and dentofacial orthopedics.
